چکیده

Weak measurement [1,19] combined with quantum delayed-choice experiment that use quantum beam splitter instead of the beam splitter give rise to a surprising amplification effect, i.e., counterintuitive negative amplification effect. We show that this effect is caused by the wave and particle behaviours of the system to be and can’t be explained by a semiclassical wave theory, due to the entanglement of the system and the ancilla in quantum beam splitter. The amplification mechanism about wave-particle duality in quantum mechanics lead us to a scheme for implementation of weak measurement in optomechanical system. PACS. 42.50.Wk – 42.65.Hw – 03.65.Ta

Weak Force Measurement in Bistable Optomechanical System

One of the main milestones in the study of opto-mechanical system is to increase the sensitivity of weak forces measurement up to the standard quantum limit. We have studied the detection of weak force under a bistable condition in red detuned regime. In this case, dynamics of the system behaves asymptotically similar to stationary state and applying external force affects phase and fluctuation...

Intracavity Squeezing Can Enhance Quantum-Limited Optomechanical Position Detection through Deamplification.

It has been predicted and experimentally demonstrated that by injecting squeezed light into an optomechanical device, it is possible to enhance the precision of a position measurement. Here, we present a fundamentally different approach where the squeezing is created directly inside the cavity by a nonlinear medium. Counterintuitively, the enhancement of the signal-to-noise ratio works by deamp...

Optomechanical Analogy for Toy Cosmology with Quantized Scale Factor

The simplest cosmology—the Friedmann–Robertson–Walker–Lemaître (FRW) model— describes a spatially homogeneous and isotropic universe where the scale factor is the only dynamical parameter. Here we consider how quantized electromagnetic fields become entangled with the scale factor in a toy version of the FRW model. A system consisting of a photon, source, and detector is described in such a uni...

A Variant and Explanation of the Delayed Choice Experiment

In this work we suggest a variant of the remarkable Wheeler’s delayed choice gedanken experiment. In our experiment, single photon described by a superposition state with two terms dynamically interacts with an atom. Preparation of the atom in any of two excited states can be realized practically in the last moment before interaction. For atom in the first excited state there is practically non...

فاز هندسی سامانه‌های اپتومکانیکی

In this paper, with respect to the advantages of geometric phase in quantum computation, we calculate the geometric phase of the optomechanical systems. This research can be considered as an important step toward using the optomechanical systems in quantum computation with utilizing its geometric phase.
